The SEPTA Affairs Committee is tasked with facilitating the most important function of the Youth Advisory Council. We review the annual SEPTA budget and gather, review, and submit the comments of the YAC to SEPTA. Outside of that, we act as the liason between the YAC, and SEPTA. It is our job to stay informed on  current projects, providing constant feedback to the authority. We ensure that members of the SEPTA team are consistantly invited to YAC meetings to teach us about the many intricate roles at SEPTA and how all the incredible workers come together to perform such great work for our region. We work closely with other committees to diseminate the knowledge we gain to the broader public. Educating transit riders is a crucial step in getting better feedback from those same riders.
